Julie Devinny, AFAA, ZIN
Fitness Director, Fitness Zone

Julie has been a fitness instructor and entrepreneur for over ten years after leaving a ten-plus year career as an Assistant Vice President in banking and being a licensed stockbroker. She is the mother of five children and demonstrates fitness and wellness in every aspect of her life. Julie has a background in dance beginning forty-plus years ago with her foundation in Ballet. She attended a performing arts high school and continued to study dance as a minor in college. She was an instructor of Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Lyrical. She is also a seasoned choreographer. Her love for dance led her into fitness and wellness as a career ever since. She is the founder and owner of Foresight Fitness, an onsite fitness programming provider. Foresight is contracted with the Davis Community to provide all aspects of fitness programming at the Fitness Zone. In addition to holding a national Group Fitness certification, she is also certified to teach multiple group fitness formats. Previous host and sponsor to large-scale fitness events.

Crystal Cooper
Regional Fitness Manager

Crystal Cooper is a NASM certified personal trainer, group exercise instructor and Fitness Nutrition Specialist who has been working in the fitness industry for over a decade. She also has a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of New England. She has worked with many different ages and fitness levels along with the North Carolina National Guard and Girl Scouts of America. Crystal has a passion for helping people become the healthiest, happiest version that they can be. She is excited to be leading and growing the North Carolina Foresight Fitness team!

Pete Venth, NASM
Fitness Center Manager & Personal Trainer

Pete is a long time Wilmington resident and a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified Personal trainer and Nutrition coach. Specializing in weight loss, muscle growth, and physical fitness. Pete has a warm and friendly personality and will make you feel welcomed and at ease whether you are brand new to the gym or a lifelong athlete. Pete is passionate about seeking optimal health in his own life and helping others do the same. Whatever your goal may be, improving flexibility, gaining strength, losing fat or gaining lean muscle, Pete will thoughtfully and professionally help make your goals reality. His specialties include: Certified Nutrition Coach, CPT, Integrated Balance Training, Parkinson’s Disease and Neuromuscular Stretching. As Fitness Zone manager, Pete is committed to providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment to all.
